Who We Are
The Advocates is a growing personal injury law firm with offices across the United States. We represent people injured in accidents, and we treat every client with care and respect. Our team cares about the people who come to us for help, and we work hard to get them the best possible results.
About the Role
Our Pacific Northwest office in Seattle is hiring an experienced, mission-driven Litigation Paralegal to join our Washington litigation team. You'll be a key member of a close-knit group of attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, and staff who are all dedicated to supporting our clients through their recovery.
In this role, you'll support cases from discovery through trial, and you'll be the main point of contact for the clients we represent. If you're a skilled problem-solver who wants to grow your litigation experience on a client-centered team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court
- Review and organize medical records and bills
- Calendar hearings and deadlines, manage case files, and coordinate with witnesses and experts
- Manage incoming and outgoing discovery requests accurately and on time
- Organize exhibits, trial notebooks, documents, evidence, and briefs and appendices
- Provide in-trial support: manage exhibits and trial filings, handle requests from the court and opposing counsel, and serve as witness liaison
- Gather and analyze information from a variety of sources to help build each case
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients: provide regular case updates, support case management, and guide them through discovery responses and depositions

- A curious investigator who digs into research and turns it into clear, useful information for attorneys
- Compassionate and professional with injured people and their families during some of the hardest times of their lives
