Bridge, acquired by Stripe in 2025 and operating as a Stripe subsidiary, is a stablecoin-powered payments platform built to simplify global money movement.

About the team

The Financial Crime, Compliance and Risk Oversight (FinCRO) Investigations Management team provides second-line-of-defence (2LoD) financial crime risk oversight and coordinates casework across Stripe’s EMEA region. The team manages user risk and synthesises investigative information into decision-ready analysis and intelligence for MLROs, RCOs, and other key stakeholders. • Review high-risk sanctions investigations, such as potential matches against relevant regional lists, and handle related submissions
  • Use and evolve AI and agentic tools to enhance casework research and analysis, surface actionable intelligence, and improve investigative workflows while applying expert judgement and maintaining human oversight of risk decisions and regulatory filings
  • Assess casework to produce clear investigative analyses, intelligence briefs, and other decision-ready outputs that identify threats, support reporting workstreams, and inform MLROs, RCOs, and other stakeholders
  • Identify potential control gaps through casework analysis and recommend solutions to mitigate financial crime risks across the programme and in individual cases
  • Serve as a point of contact for investigation-related inquiries from law enforcement and FIUs, financial partners, auditors, and other external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex, high-risk cases where the correct decision may not be immediately clear

  • 3+ years of experience in investigative roles within financial crime, AML, risk, intelligence research, or a related field

  • Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with MLROs and communicate complex risk decisions clearly
  • Excellent research and writing skills and the ability to produce concise, decision-ready investigative outputs
  • The ability to synthesise large amounts of information, including transaction data, using tools such as SQL, Excel, and AI
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
