Role Overview
As a Robotics Deployment Engineer, you will install and commission our AI-powered robotic systems at customer sites across Europe, taking real ownership of what you deliver on site.
This is a hands-on role that combines practical implementation with growing technical leadership. You will work closely with engineers, project managers and customer teams, and take responsibility for installation, integration and commissioning, including the mechanical and electrical work that keeps live systems running.
Your Responsibilities:
Deployment Leadership
Lead the installation and commissioning of robotic systems at customer facilities.
Plan installation workflows and run deployments safely and efficiently.
Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and customer staff, and act as the technical contact on site.
Confirm every system meets performance and safety requirements before handoff.
System Installation & Integration
Install and integrate robotic arms, grippers, sensors, cameras and mobile platforms.
Carry out mechanical and electrical work, including end-effector mounting, cable routing, and control cabinet wiring and modification.
Drill, tap and modify brackets and fixtures to fit each site.
Run on-site testing and validation.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and software issues during deployment.
Repair or replace grippers, sensors, actuators and cabling to keep systems running.
Tune systems for speed, accuracy and efficiency in production.
Train customer teams and document procedures, configurations and lessons learned.
Work with engineering to improve system robustness and our deployment process, and support customer sites remotely between deployments.
Travel
Willingness and ability to travel extensively is required for this role.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
3+ years deploying robotic systems, automation equipment or industrial machinery.
Experience leading or coordinating installations or field deployments.
Hands-on experience with robotic workcells or industrial automation.
Skills
Working knowledge of ROS 2 and robotic system architecture, and proficiency in Python or C++. Docker is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and software systems, and comfortable with hand and power tools.
Experience installing sensors, routing cables and integrating hardware in industrial environments, and able to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and layouts.
Strong written and verbal communication. Familiarity with 6-axis robots or AMRs is a plus.
What We Offer:
Highly competitive compensation and real career growth in a fast-growing company
Flexible working hours
Wellpass (gym membership)
Free snacks, drinks, lunch and dinner in the office
Accommodation, meals and travel fully covered on deployment
A motivated team and an open culture
