AI is transforming how every company operates, but most enterprises are stuck. They want to move fast with AI Agents, tools, and workflows, but they can't do it safely. We're fixing that.
Our team built AI Actions for OpenAI, shipped Zapier Agents to millions of users, and launched the first remote MCP server with Anthropic. We helped establish the protocol, and now we're building the platform enterprises need to actually put AI to work.
Runlayer is one platform for MCPs, Skills, and Agents: purpose-built security, fine-grained governance, and complete observability so organizations can go all-in on AI across the entire company without the risk. We just raised a $30M Series A led by Felicis, with participation from Khosla Ventures, bringing our total raised to $42M. Already trusted by Gusto, Instacart, Opendoor, dbt Labs, and Decagon.
About the Role
Runlayer helps companies put AI agents to work with the security, visibility, and control they need. We are hiring a Growth Product Manager to make it easier for companies to evaluate Runlayer, prove its value, and get started.
You will improve the journey from a qualified prospect’s first evaluation to a customer’s first successful deployment. You will work directly with prospects and the people helping them buy and deploy Runlayer, find where progress stalls, and ship better experiences.
Some of that work will be in the product: clearer setup, guided evaluations, and faster access to a useful result. Some will be behind the scenes: tools and AI workflows that help our teams prepare evaluations, spot blockers, and avoid repeating the same manual work.
What you will do
Own the evaluation and onboarding roadmap. Find the most important barriers between qualified interest, a successful evaluation, and initial activation. Decide what to improve first.
Stay close to customers. Join evaluations and onboarding sessions. Understand what buyers need to prove, what admins need to set up, and where users get stuck.
Ship better experiences. Work with Design, Engineering, and the core PMs to improve setup, proof of value, and the transition into a working deployment.
Build useful internal tools. Prototype and launch tools and AI workflows with Sales and Forward Deployed Engineering. Turn repeated problems into improvements that work across accounts.
Measure what changed. Query data, instrument important steps, and assess changes using customer evidence and comparable cohorts. Improve conversion and time to value while reducing manual effort.
What you bring
You have owned onboarding, activation, or conversion for a software product. You can explain the original problem, what you personally shipped, and the result.
You have built internal tools or automations that colleagues adopted. You can show a working example or a clear walkthrough and explain how it helped.
You combine customer conversations with direct data analysis. You can investigate a funnel yourself and recognize when the data needs more context.
You build working prototypes and use AI tools in your daily workflow. You can take an idea far enough to test it with real users and work with engineers to make it reliable.
You make progress in ambiguous situations, communicate clearly across functions, and keep improving your work after launch.
Experience with enterprise SaaS, technical products, or a sales-assisted customer journey would be useful.
