Social Media Creator (Part-Time)
San Francisco (in person) · Part-time · 10–30 hours/week · $50/hour
About Relling
Relling (YC S25) builds robot workcells for the suppliers behind big manufacturers. Our robots sand, drill, deburr and inspect parts for aerospace, defense and industrial customers. We design and test everything in our shop in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, and put the robots to work on factory floors.
The role
We want someone to be the face of Relling on social media. You'll come into the shop a few times a week and record short videos: robots running, new cells being built, the team at work, behind-the-scenes from customer deployments. You don't need to be technical. You need to be comfortable on camera, curious, and good at turning what you see into something people want to watch.
What you'll do
Film and star in short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
Find the moments worth posting: a robot's first run, a hard part coming off the line, a fix after a long day of debugging
Interview engineers and explain what the robots are doing in plain language
Write captions and hooks, and keep an eye on what's working
Keep up with formats and trends, and bring ideas to the team
What we're looking for
You're comfortable on camera and have posted videos before, either your own channel or for a brand
You know what makes people stop scrolling
You can shoot and do basic edits on your phone (CapCut or similar)
You're curious about how things are made and don't mind a loud shop floor
You're reliable and can come to Potrero Hill on a regular schedule
Nice to have
An existing following, or an account you've grown
Interest in hardware, manufacturing, engineering or startups
How to apply
Send your resume and links to 2–3 videos you've made, and tell us in a sentence or two what you'd post first about a robotics company.
