We are seeking an Advanced Quantum Compiler Engineer in our Broomfield, CO Location. As quantum hardware rapidly scales toward fault-tolerant systems, compiler technology is becoming one of the fundamental enablers of practical quantum computing. At Quantinuum, our compiler team develops critical software that translates our users’ groundbreaking quantum applications to hardware-specific operations that execute efficiently on our world-class hardware. We tackle some of the hardest compiler and optimization problems in quantum computing, including scalable routing across trapped-ion architectures, compilation for fault-tolerant quantum systems, and architecture-aware optimizations. With the support of physicists, quantum error correction (QEC) experts, and fellow compiler engineers, we co-design the software stack that will compile algorithms into tailored, executable instructions for our trapped-ion quantum computers. Through this work, we are building the compiler technologies that enable scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing on increasingly capable hardware.
