ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven, proactive and execution-oriented Partnerships Enablement Manager - U.S. (m/f/d) to drive partner growth in North America. In this role, you will step-in to take ownership the moment a new partner signs: leading their implementation, guiding them through platform training, and serving as their long-term strategic account manager to maximize adoption and revenue.
This is a critical hybrid role sitting at the intersection of project management, implementation, and client relationship management. We aren’t looking for a specific professional profile; rather, we want a proven high performer who has consistently excelled across their life experiences, whether in academics, athletics, or their early career.
You will report to the North America Partnerships Director and work cross-functionally with Product, Onboarding, Marketing, Data, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver partner-led growth.
This role is open in New York City (hybrid).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Partner Implementation & Onboarding: Drive post-signature implementation for new U.S. partners (e.g., vertical SaaS, expense platforms, etc.). Coordinate timelines, streamline technical integration steps, and ensure partners go live on schedule.
Strategic Account Management: Act as the primary commercial and operational owner for live partners. Monitor program health, track adoption metrics, lead regular business reviews, and drive initiatives to expand card volume and engagement.
Product & Platform Expertise: Become an expert on Pliant's apps, APIs, and platform capabilities so that you can best support our partners, train their teams, and troubleshoot for their end-customers.
Cross-Functional Project Management: Serve as the central hub between external partner teams and Pliant’s internal Product, Onboarding (Credit/Compliance), Marketing, Data, Finance and Operations teams. Unblock operational bottlenecks, troubleshoot workflow edge cases, and translate partner needs into actionable product feedback.
Process & Playbook Development: Build repeatable onboarding playbooks, technical checklists, and enablement materials to scale our partner onboarding velocity.
Operational Problem Solving: Resolve day-to-day integration and account challenges ranging from API setup guidance to credit line onboarding and reporting.
Go-to-Market Development: Co-create messaging, enablement materials, and campaigns with Marketing and Revenue Operations that unlock partner success.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience: 2-3 years of professional work experience. Note: You do NOT need prior experience in tech implementation or account management to be eligible for this job. We are hiring for aptitude, drive, and problem-solving ability above all else.
A Track Record of Excellence: We are looking for a demonstrated history of high-caliber performance across your life experiences, whether that means graduating with honors from university, competing in varsity athletics, or succeeding at a highly selective consulting, banking, or tech firm.
Exceptional Project Management: Highly organized with an obsession for detail and a proven ability to keep multi-stakeholder projects on track against tight deadlines.
Comfort with Ambiguity & Scrappiness: Ability to operate autonomously, make sound decisions without a playbook, get your hands dirty, and actively fix problems rather than waiting for instructions.
Rapid Learning Curve: Capacity to quickly master complex technical systems, apps, and fintech concepts as a high-performing problem solver.
Strong Communication & Client Presence: Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills with the poise to manage external stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data to assess partner health and analyze volume trends.
WHAT WE OFFER
The opportunity to work in a growing team with big responsibilities that thrives on a strong exchange of knowledge and excellence
Attractive remuneration
Your choice of preferred OS, Windows or Mac
Flat hierarchy and transparent communication in a relaxed, professional atmosphere
Opportunity to develop your talent in a dynamic team with ambitious goals

COMPENSATION
Within our Partnerships organization at Pliant, On Target Earnings (OTE) represents a mix of annual base salary and performance-based variable compensation.
Total OTE Range: $115,000 – $150,000 + Benefits
(Final OTE offers are determined by factoring in geographic location, exact depth of relevant experience, and prior track record.)
