About Lendable
Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
One of the UK’s most exciting unicorns with a team of over 800 people
Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
Profitable since 2017
Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)
So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.
We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.
Join us if you want to
Take ownership: you are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1
Work in small teams of exceptional people: Lendies are relentlessly resourceful. We challenge the status quo to solve problems and find smarter solutions
Build the best technology in-house: we use new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting
We’re looking for an analytical, commercially-minded Junior Strategy Analyst to help us grow and scale the product exponentially. This is a dynamic role where you’ll tackle high impact business problems across a number of disciplines including pricing, growth, credit risk, new product development and product analytics.
You’ll help us solve our most complex multi-dimensional challenges, working cross-functionally to deliver insight-driven strategies that optimise performance, drive responsible growth, and put the customer at the heart of decision-making.
You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment where ideas matter more than hierarchy, and execution beats bureaucracy. Your work will directly influence who we serve, how we grow, and how we deliver sustainable value.
Key Responsibilities
Drive pricing & promotions optimisation:
Support the development and optimisation of pricing and promotional strategies across our channels and products through data-driven analysis, balancing customer engagement, growth, price elasticity and profitability, while continuously refining approaches based on product performance and scenario modelling
Analyse performance at channel, product and customer segment level to identify opportunities to improve pricing, product and conversion efficiency
Build insight into conversion funnel performance and highlight where cost or conversion can be improved
Stay abreast of industry trends and market activity to ensure our products remain competitive and fit for purpose
Pricing experimentation & impact assessment:
Design, set up and run pricing tests and product A/B and multivariate experiments, working with Product, Data Science and Engineering to ensure they are implemented correctly
Track experiment performance against pre-agreed success metrics and guardrails, and deliver clear readouts with recommendations on whether to roll out, iterate or stop
Measure the realised impact of commercial initiatives after launch, and compare outcomes against the original business case
Build and maintain monitoring of key commercial metrics so the team can track the impact of changes over time
Build a growing evidence base on price elasticity from these tests to inform future pricing decisions
Validate that implemented pricing and strategy changes are working as intended once deployed in production, flagging and investigating any unexpected behaviour.
Evaluate expansion opportunities:
Support the evaluation of new product, channel and segment opportunities by extracting and analysing data and contributing to commercial models
Help maintain assessment frameworks and tooling so that evaluations are consistent and repeatable
Collaboration & communication:
Collaborate with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Data Science, Product and Growth to bring your strategies to life.
Present analysis and recommendations clearly and concisely, backed by data, to the team and wider stakeholders.
Document analyses, queries and experiment results so they are reusable by the wider team.
Your experience
Essential:
1+ years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. Product Analytics, Growth, Pricing).
Proficiency in SQL; working knowledge of Python.
Understanding of experimentation fundamentals; hands-on exposure to A/B testing is a strong plus.
A structured approach to problem solving, strong attention to detail and comfort working through ambiguity.
Desirable:
Experience in an FCA-regulated financial services firm.
Exposure to pricing or conversion funnel analysis.
Life at Lendable
