2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler. We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law. Joining Legora means three things. We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions. We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback. We grow together: as a team and with our customers. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. One craft. Many specialisms. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace and raising the bar, this is the place. Audit is a profession built on evidence and judgement. Different engagements bring different industries, reporting frameworks and pressure points. What they share is the work underneath: reading, analysing and documenting large volumes of information under tight deadlines, with a high bar for quality. We’re building our Audit capability within Legora’s Tax & Audit workstream, focused on leading professional services firms, including the Big Four. As an Accounting Engineer, you’ll help Audit & Assurance teams get the most out of Legora through practical workflows built around how they work. You’ll bring experience from audit practice and work closely with our Tax colleagues, who often serve different teams within the same firms. This role doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional box. It’s part audit specialist, part product expert, part solutions architect and part trusted client adviser. Your mission is to establish how we work in the Audit domain: identify where Legora can make a meaningful difference, test those use cases with practitioners, and turn what works into repeatable approaches. Where you come in You’ll help Audit & Assurance teams explore, test and adopt document-intensive use cases such as: Reviewing contracts, board minutes and other supporting documents to identify information relevant to engagement planning and risk assessment. Extracting and organising information from client documentation, with references back to the underlying sources for auditor review. Comparing accounting policies, disclosures and supporting narratives to flag inconsistencies and questions for follow-up. Preparing first drafts of document summaries, client questions and engagement documentation for professional review. Making internal methodology and technical guidance easier to navigate and apply to document-based work. These are starting points, not a fixed catalogue. You’ll help establish which use cases are suitable, where the platform adds value, and where its limits require a different approach. AI supports the auditor’s work; it does not replace professional judgement or responsibility for conclusions. What you’ll do Establish our Audit ways of working. Build the practical approach for how Legora serves the Audit domain, from discovery and use-case assessment to workflow design, testing, training and rollout. Create reusable materials and delivery practices that other teammates can build on. Identify and prioritise the right use cases. Work with practitioners to understand their pain points. Assess opportunities against client value, feasibility, information availability and quality requirements, then validate them in real engagements before scaling. Be a trusted adviser. Partner with audit teams, methodology specialists and innovation leads to understand how their firms work and help them get the most out of our platform. Craft the workflows professionals use every day. Design practical ways to analyse documents, organise information and prepare drafts in Legora. Build in source checking and human review, and test outputs against agreed quality criteria. Own pilots and rollouts. Together with our Go-To-Market and Customer Success teams, take clients from a first demonstration to adoption across teams, offices and countries. Define success measures and use feedback to improve delivery. Demo and train. Show Audit & Assurance teams what Legora can do and train them to use it in the language of their profession, rather than tech jargon. You may be presenting to an audit partner in a first meeting or training a large engagement team during a rollout. Shape the product. Be the voice of audit users inside Legora. Translate their needs, feedback and constraints into clear input for our Product and Engineering teams. Be their transformation partner. Help clients think through how AI fits into their delivery models, methodology, quality processes and team development, while respecting confidentiality and the boundaries of the auditor’s role. What this role is, and isn’t It is client-facing, hands-on and advisory. Your audit experience and professional judgement will help teams put Legora to work in meaningful, practical ways. It is a builder role. You’ll bring structure to a developing domain and help establish our approach, rather than simply follow an existing playbook. It isn’t a coding role. You don’t need to be a software engineer, just genuinely curious about how the technology works. It isn’t a sales role. There is no sales quota. You’ll support new-client conversations through demos and pilots, but your success is measured by adoption and client value. It isn’t a statutory audit delivery or signing role. It is a step away from the traditional audit partner track, with a front-row seat to, and a hand in, transforming how the profession works. What you bring 4+ years of hands-on experience in Audit & Assurance at a Big Four firm or comparable audit practice, with meaningful involvement in planning, execution and reporting. A professional accounting qualification, or good progress toward one. Auditor authorisation, such as Swedish auktoriserad revisor status, is a plus, not a requirement. A solid grounding in audit methodology, financial reporting, risk assessment, internal controls and evidence evaluation. You understand how engagement documentation supports conclusions and review. A track record of improving how work gets done. You may have championed an analytics tool, improved engagement processes, joined an innovation group or tested new AI tools with your team. The ability to turn an unclear problem into a practical approach: identify a use case, design a workflow, test it, learn from feedback and document a repeatable way of working. Real curiosity about generative AI, alongside a critical eye for accuracy, source support and the limits of technology. Clear, credible communication in English, with everyone from junior associates to senior audit partners and engineers. Swedish language skills are a plus. A feel for how audit firms operate: engagement deadlines, team leverage, methodology, review processes, independence considerations and client confidentiality. The ability to manage several client relationships at once, work collaboratively and take ownership in a fast-moving environment. Willingness to travel to clients. Experience with international or listed-company engagements, audit technology implementation, or methodology and quality work is particularly welcome. Why join now Build it from the start. Help establish Legora’s Audit capability within the Tax & Audit workstream, with real autonomy and responsibility for how we work and grow. Broaden your career. Combine your audit expertise with product knowledge, client delivery and hands-on experience leading AI adoption in professional services. Learn beyond your specialism. Work alongside Tax colleagues, Legal Engineers and our Product and Engineering teams, serving firms across practices and jurisdictions. Work at pace. Join a team that moves fast, gives direct, ego-free feedback and holds a high bar, just like the best client teams you’ve worked in. Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Where you come in

You’ll help Audit & Assurance teams explore, test and adopt document-intensive use cases such as:

  • Reviewing contracts, board minutes and other supporting documents to identify information relevant to engagement planning and risk assessment.

  • Extracting and organising information from client documentation, with references back to the underlying sources for auditor review.

  • Comparing accounting policies, disclosures and supporting narratives to flag inconsistencies and questions for follow-up.
