Product and engineering at Kota, always open to exceptional people
Dublin, London or remote across Europe
Some of these are live roles right now, others aren't yet. Either way, we're building a pool of people we'd want to hire into product and engineering at Kota as we grow over the next few months.
We don't hire for a language or a framework, and our engineering roles are full stack. Integrations is the one place we'd expect a backend lean, and even there nobody stops at the edge of one codebase. Benefits is a genuinely hard domain, multi-provider, multi-country and largely unmodernised, and the learning curve is the product rather than the stack. If you'd rather own a problem end to end than pick up well-specified tickets, we want to hear from you.
Who this is for
Product engineer: you make product calls, not just technical ones, and you'd rather talk to a customer than wait for a spec
API: on Embed the API is the product, not the plumbing, and you've built things other developers had to live with
Integrations: multi-provider, multi-market, and the systems we don't control. The one place we'd expect a backend lean
Product lead: you own vision and strategy for an area, and you've shipped something from nothing
Product design: high craft bar, comfortable with complex workflows, and you sweat the states nobody else looks at
Leadership: you've led engineers or designers and you're still close enough to the work to be useful
AI-native, whatever your title: you use AI to plan, build and review, and you're critical about what it gives you
Something else: if none of those quite fit but you can see where you'd add something here, tell us
What happens next
If what you've told us matches a live role, we'll move you into that process.
If it doesn't yet, you'll be in the pool and we'll come back to you when something opens that fits. We're a small team, so we can't promise a conversation with everyone who applies, but we do read everything and we'd rather hear from you early than not at all.
Matched by role category. Review each posting’s requirements before applying.
