With a robust team of over 180 professionals, we operate from offices in Tunbridge Wells and London Paddington. Our exceptional work has earned us the prestigious title of Microsoft Partner of the Year for Dynamics Business Central. We are dedicated to fostering a more productive and secure work environment for organizations utilizing Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Guided by core values of empathy, creativity, ambition, authenticity, and confidence, we celebrate diversity and strive to create a supportive and innovative work environment. We are committed to the well-being and growth of our employees, and we prioritize continuous learning and development through fully funded training programs. Our focus on people, expertise, and commitment to excellence underscores our mission to make a positive impact in the tech industry. Role Overview: This role exists to ensure our recurring revenue is billed accurately, on time and in line with what customers have agreed to buy. You will own a complex billing operation covering 5,000+ active contracts, resolving the issues that create revenue leakage, customer frustration and uncertainty in the numbers. Alongside running the monthly billing cycle, you will improve the systems, data and controls behind it, reducing manual effort and preventing repeat problems. Around 20% of the role will focus on overseeing procurement, ensuring supplier costs and commitments remain aligned with customer orders and billing. What you'll be doing: Own billing at scale Lead the monthly billing cycle across recurring, usage-based, one-off and complex charges. Ensure billing is complete, accurate and delivered on time, with clear ownership of exceptions through to resolution. Protect revenue and margin Identify missed charges, pricing errors, duplicate billing and other forms of revenue leakage. Maintain effective reconciliation between contracts, billing records, supplier costs and customer invoices. Improve systems and controls Assess how billing works from contract through to invoice. Make it easy for Finance and operational leaders to understand the numbers and trace them back to the underlying agreement or transaction. Oversee procurement Manage the colleague responsible for day-to-day procurement activity. Maintain appropriate oversight of supplier orders, purchase orders, recurring commitments and escalations, ensuring costs remain aligned with customer billing. The kind of problems you’ll solve Customer contracts, billing records and supplier costs do not align. Charges are missed, duplicated or applied using the wrong price or billing frequency. Contract amendments, cancellations or renewals are not reflected accurately in billing. Billing issues are repeatedly corrected manually without addressing the underlying cause. Poor data or weak controls make it difficult to explain revenue, cost and margin. Complex billing exceptions delay invoicing or damage customer confidence. Existing systems and workflows rely too heavily on manual intervention. Supplier commitments or costs do not match the associated customer agreement What sets you apart You understand complex billing operations and can take ownership without needing to learn the fundamentals on the job. You question numbers that do not look right and follow issues back to their source. You balance operational detail with the bigger commercial picture. You improve the underlying process rather than accepting repeated manual fixes. You are comfortable challenging weak data, unclear ownership and ineffective controls. You translate financial and operational problems into practical system improvements. You create accountability across Finance, Sales, commercial, operations, suppliers and technical teams. You remain calm and disciplined when managing a high-volume, deadline-driven operation Your impact: For the business Recurring revenue is protected, margin is more visible and leaders have greater confidence in the accuracy of billing and financial reporting. For customers Invoices are accurate, queries are resolved properly and fewer billing problems undermine customer confidence. For the team Billing and procurement operate with clearer ownership, stronger controls and less reliance on manual intervention. Teams spend less time correcting avoidable issues and more time supporting customers and growth. What it's like here: Ambitious, but not political High standards, but pragmatic People who care about doing things properly — not just hitting numbers You’ll get: Real ownership of how sales evolves Freedom to change things that don’t work A team open to being challenged and developed Direct access to leadership and influence over direction What you get: Unlimited annual leave Private healthcare, life assurance, company shares Electric car scheme Flexible / remote working (with access to Tunbridge Wells & Paddington) Team and company socials, including Illuminate Awards
