Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Build the product clinicians rely on every morning.

HealthLeap’s dashboard helps dietitians at Cedars-Sinai and Penn Medicine see which patients need attention, understand the relevant clinical data, and act quickly. You’ll build the interfaces clinicians use and the backend services behind them.

What you’ll do

  • Own product work from conversations with clinicians through production.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years building production web applications, with strong frontend and backend engineering beyond basic CRUD.

  • Strong React, API design, SQL, and relational schema design.

  • An eye for clear interfaces and the judgment to check what the underlying numbers mean.

  • Independent delivery: you talk to users, make scope decisions, verify your work, and own the outcome.

  • Something you’ve built that we can discuss. A public portfolio is welcome; a walkthrough of private work works too.

What will make you stand out

  2. System design

  3. Take-home exercise

  4. Onsite with the team in San Francisco

We decide the same week as the onsite.

  • 100% covered healthcare premiums

  • Unlimited PTO, with a recommended minimum of 20 days
