About the Role

We are seeking a strategic operator to own one of Base’s most important partnerships – with one of the nation’s leading homebuilders. This partnership has introduced thousands of homeowners to Base and continues to scale rapidly each week.

 

As the primary point of contact for the Base Homebuilder daily operations, you will represent Base in many interactions with our partners, electrical subcontractors and be accountable for the success of the relationship. That means driving process efficiency, improving unit economics, and quality outcomes while ensuring our partner stays motivated to win alongside us. At Base, partnerships aren’t siloed – you’ll collaborate closely with Deployments, Growth, Software, and Hardware to deliver results that matter.

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary Base teams to solve challenging operational problems.

• Build trusted relationships with executives and on-the-ground teams across 6+ divisions at the partner company to ensure continued success.

• Triage daily operational issues to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations and impact to members or external partners.

• Take a data driven approach to solve systemic issues that impact efficiency, develop plan and implementation strategies. Own the execution of said strategies across multiple teams.

• Take ownership of member pipeline metrics, track, and deliver against internal targets across Base teams to achieve partnership goals.

• Identify opportunities to improve internal and external processes, and outcomes through data, technology & literacy as well as strong process instincts.

 

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience operating large-scale partnerships or initiatives in a high-growth environment.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Commercial acumen to structure, negotiate, and sustain win-win-win outcomes for Base, our partner, and our members in a B2B2C environment.

• Analytical and data-driven mindset; comfort working with modern tools (e.g., SQL, dashboards, CRMs) and rolling

 

About the Team

The Deployment Operations group designs and implements the frameworks and processes that translate fresh utility alliances into active field batteries. Functioning at the nexus of utility allies, field execution, and internal Base groups, we guide partnerships from executed agreements through Permission to Operate, establishing the operational base needed for expansion.

 

As Base penetrates fresh markets and initiates new utility relationships, our team navigates intricate, novel deployment hurdles, establishes standard operational procedures for each partner, and transforms learned insights into scalable workflows. We operate with speed, maintain close attention to detail, and work cross-functionally to drive deployment momentum while building scalable, long-term frameworks.
