The Senior Full-Stack Engineer exists to solve problems that make Acquisition.com's advisory and client application efforts more successful. The goal is a better net client experience, built by designing systems and processes around client data inside our platforms and integrations. Some of those problems are integrations. Some are net-new applications. Some are automations that replace manual work nobody should be doing. The common thread is that you see a problem, figure out the right solution, and build it end-to-end.
Acquisition.com operates across advisory, media, and technology functions, each generating its own set of systems, data flows, and process challenges. You will work across these functions, building the internal tools, automations, and application layers that let the business move faster and serve clients better. The work is varied by design. One week you might be standing up a new client-facing workflow; the next, you might be wiring two systems together or rebuilding a pipeline that has outgrown its original architecture.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You will own projects from idea through production, working directly with engineering, leadership, and business teams to understand what needs to exist and then making it real.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and ship full-stack applications, services, and internal tools that improve the client experience and support advisory operations
Design and implement automations that replace manual processes and reduce operational overhead across business functions
Architect and maintain integrations between internal systems and external platforms to keep client data accurate and accessible
Own projects end-to-end, from scoping the problem with stakeholders through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
Collaborate with engineering, leadership, and business teams to translate raw needs into working software that delivers measurable results
Continuously evaluate and improve system architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability as the business grows
Proven ability to build production applications across the stack, not just one layer, with 5+ years of experience delivering complex or high-impact systems
Strong experience designing and shipping automations and process-driven tooling that reduced real operational burden
Demonstrated skill building integration frameworks and data pipelines that connect multiple systems reliably at scale
Proficiency in both Python and TypeScript for building scalable services, automation workflows, and application layers
Track record of working directly with non-technical stakeholders to understand the real problem before writing code
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD, observability tooling, and agent-driven development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code
The net client experience improves because the systems and processes around client data are reliable, well-designed, and built for how the business actually operates
Advisory and client application teams operate faster because the tools they depend on work and are built for their actual workflows
Manual processes are replaced by automations that save measurable time and reduce errors across business functions
Integrations between systems are seamless, accurate, and maintainable, reducing the overhead of keeping data in sync
New capabilities move from idea to production quickly because you own the full path and do not wait for handoffs
Engineering patterns and reusable components emerge from your work, raising the baseline for the entire platform
Work hours aligned with local timezone or Pacific timezone (8a-5p M-F)
Availability to support critical launches or events when needed
Full-time, remote (US-based)
