About the Role
aCommerce is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to join our Commercial Operations team. In this unique, client-dedicated role, you will be directly employed by aCommerce but will serve as the dedicated project lead for one of our premier retail brand partners.
You will be the primary bridge between the brand, aCommerce’s internal teams, and third-party partners. Your core mission will be to lead the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions that drive the brand's e-commerce and retail success, ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary, client-facing point of contact for the retail brand. Build strong, trusted relationships, manage expectations, and lead regular status alignments to ensure the brand's commercial goals are met.
- Commercial Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of commercial operations projects, which may include new market launches, retail campaign rollouts, process optimizations, and brand-specific initiatives.
- Tech Solution Oversight: Manage and support the implementation of technology solutions required to achieve the brand’s commercial objectives (e.g., e-commerce platforms, OMS, CRM, or retail integrations). Ensure business requirements are properly translated to the tech teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with aCommerce's internal teams (Operations, Tech, Marketing, and Supply Chain) and third-party partners to ensure seamless project delivery on time and within budget.
- Process & Operational Excellence: Identify operational bottlenecks within the brand's current workflows and project manage the solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall customer experience.
- Risk Management & Reporting: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Provide clear, regular reporting on project health, timelines, and commercial impact to both internal leadership and the brand.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management, preferably within E-commerce, Retail, SaaS, or a Tech environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong track record of successfully managing and implementing technology solutions or system integrations.
- Client-Facing Expertise: Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, brands, or external stakeholders. You must be comfortable leading client workshops, delivering presentations, and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for the brand, and vice versa for the internal tech teams.
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Operations, or a related field. PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a strong plus.
